SliQTools Software Skills
Microsoft .Net - C#.Net and VB.Net - for Rapid Application Development
Our
software engineers have extensive experience of programming systems
using C# and VB .Net.
The .NET framework has been in existence since 2001. Since then software product development has been moving towards .NET. Today, over 50% of new projects are developed using .NET. The most popular development language is C#. C# combines the power of C++ with the ease of use of Microsoft's older Visual Basic.
Our engineers are experienced in designing and developing software for database-driven applications using Microsoft Access and SQL Server. We also have extensive experience of using XML.
SliQTools software engineers also have in-depth knowledge of GDI+ and developing graphical editors. e.g. we can help you design editing applications like Microsoft Visio with full drag and drop and undo/ redo capability.
Kickstart your Projects using our Code Libraries

SliQTools develop and sell our own products for office applications.
Many office applications have similar functions, e.g. they print tables of data, create PDFs and email items.
If you hire SliQTools to develop your applications we will use our existing, extensive libraries of code to give your projects a running start.
This offers many advantages to clients. We are continually enhancing and improving our products and you may be able to benefit from improvements and additions we make to our common software libraries. In some situations this can make software maintenance and software support easier - you will know that the software within your applications is being widely used and maintained.
Microsoft Visual C++
SliQTools
engineers have a number of years experience in developing using
Microsoft Visual C++ and MFC-based software. MFC (or Microsoft
Foundation Classes) was Microsoft's software development framework prior
to .NET.
While we would recommend developing new software using C# and .Net we can also develop using both managed and unmanaged C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/ 2008.
We can also aid in porting software from the older Microsoft Visual Studio 6 into a more recent release of Studio. If you have an older C++/ MFC product and wish to add new functionality using C#, we can help with interoperability of the two different technologies.
We can also help in development of COM-based servers and ActiveX controls.
